| CLINICAL ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ALAN COOPER |
Alan graduated in science (computer science and pure mathematics) and medicine from the University of Sydney. During undergraduate years, he was honorary secretary, vice president, senior undergraduate vice president and president of the University of Sydney Medical Society. He was also the vice president of the Australasian Medical Students’ Association.
His dermatology training was at Royal North Shore Hospital and the Mayo Clinic, where he obtained board certification in dermatology for the United States.

America, before being appointed as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO). He is currently Head of Department of Dermatology at the Royal North Shore Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Northern Clinical School of the University of Sydney.
Alan’s earliest involvement with Epiderm was as Secretary General of the 19th World Congress of Dermatology. In this capacity, he served ten-year terms on the boards of the International League of Dermatological Societies and the International Foundation for Dermatology.
Alan has held a number of positions in the Australasian College of Dermatologists, including State Faculty Secretary and State Faculty Chairman. He has served several terms on the Council (Board of Directors) of the College and was the Honorary Secretary for four years from 1998 to 2002. Alan serves on the Board of the Dermatology Research Foundation of the University of Sydney and is Chairman of the Hospital of Hope Timor-Leste project. |

| DR STEPHEN SHUMACK |
|
Dr Stephen Shumack graduated in medicine from the University of New South Wales in 1980. He spent his intern and resident years at Prince of Wales/Prince Henry Hospital. He spent a year as a medical registrar in Canberra before commencing work as a dermatology registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital/Skin and Cancer Foundation in Sydney. He was elected a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1991.
Since that time, he has practised dermatology in private practice in Macquarie Street, Sydney, and Belgrave Street, Kogarah, New South Wales. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer in dermatology/sexual health medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. |

He is a past Head of Department of Dermatology at St George Hospital, Kogarah.
He has undertaken various research activities over the last decade, with particular reference to treatments of non-melanoma skin cancers and also image diagnosis and teledermatology.
He has been co-author on approximately 40 scientific papers and book chapters.
Dr Shumack is also a Board member of the Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia and has been a Board member (Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary) of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. |

| DR DAVID WONG |
|
Dr David Wong graduated in medicine from Sydney University with First Class Honours in 1983. He completed his undergraduate training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and undertook postgraduate training at the Prince of Wales’ Hospital Group, Sydney. He was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1988 and has since worked predominantly in his private practices at Bondi Junction and Penrith.
His areas of clinical interest include the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, and skin diseases of patients with immune compromised conditions. |

Other appointments include Visiting Medical Officer to the Prince of Wales Hospital and Visiting Dermatologist to the Sydney Hospital Albion Street Clinic. As Clinical Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, he is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities.
Dr Wong is also a director on the Boards of Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia and the Epiderm (Australian Dermatology Research and Education Foundation), both being not-for-profit organisations involved in improving the standard of dermatological care for all Australians. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |

| DR GREG CROSLAND |
|
Dr Greg Crosland graduated from the University of Sydney in 1980.
Intern, Resident and Registrar years were spent at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, and he obtained his Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1986.
From 1989 to 1993, Dr Crosland was Honorary Secretary of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and he has continued to serve on various College committees since that time.
Dr Crosland has also served as Head of the Department of Dermatology at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, and continues to give medical student lectures at this hospital. |

Dr Crosland currently works in private practice in Sydney and has worked in Dubbo for some twenty years. His interests are in general dermatology, especially skin cancer and acne management, and medical student teaching.
Dr Crosland has been an Epiderm (ADREF) Board member since 2003. |
