Application for funding for an Educational Program

Applications for an educational grant from Epiderm will be required to provide the following details:

TITLE OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

  1. (a) The name of the Chief Participant and any co-participants in the education program proposed.
    (b) Person nominated for correspondence, including address and telephone contact details.
  2. A curriculum vitae, including previous experience in education projects for the major participants in the project.
  3. The institution where development and delivery of this particular education program will be coordinated.
  4. Details of any other grants held or applied for relating to this particular education program.
  5. The aims of the project, including background information to establish the rationale and justification for it, as well as a statement on the potential significance of the project.
  6. Details of the educational activity anticipated. This includes background research to underpin the program; development of the educational program and resources; methods of pre-testing the intervention, including resources; anticipated methods of delivery of the program; and methods of assessing the outcome.
  7. Approval, were appropriate from an institutional ethics review committee.
  8. A budget for the educational project including resources and personnel.
  9. A written justification of the budget.
  10. Projected dates of commencement and conclusion.
  11. On conclusion of the project, a typed report shall be submitted to Epiderm, giving details of the development, delivery and outcome.

Appropriate acknowledgment of the source of grant should be made in any presentations or publications that occur as a result of the project. This includes acknowledgment printed on any resources produced as part of the project.
